Creating Healthy Boundaries

Monday Feb 23, 2026

Monday Feb 23, 2026

Boundaries are everywhere right now. Everyone is talking about them. But, most of what we’ve been taught about boundaries isn’t actually helpful.

In this episode, I’m breaking down what boundaries really are, and what they’re not. A boundary is not controlling someone else. It’s not telling someone what they can or cannot do. A boundary is how you keep yourself safe.

We’ll talk about:
The difference between a request and a boundary
Why boundaries build self-trust
How boundaries actually create deeper connection (not distance)
Why boundaries don’t mean you’re in the wrong relationship

Why anxiety might spike a little after you set one (and why that’s okay)

If you’ve ever felt u sure about how to actually create a healthy boundary, this episode is for you! Boundaries aren’t about control — they’re about safety, which allows you to love so much more abundantly.

Thursday Feb 12, 2026

Thursday Feb 12, 2026

Valentine’s Day can bring up a lot when you struggle with relationship anxiety or ROCD. The pressure to feel in love, to feel certain, or to make sure your partner shows up “the right way” can turn one simple day into a spiral.

In this episode, I’m sharing 5 gentle tips to help you move through Valentine’s Day with more calm and intention — from letting go of feeling-checking, to not testing your partner, to choosing love as an action instead of obsessing over love as a feeling.

In this episode of The Relationship Anxiety Podcast, Kresenya shares how learning to distinguish between these two voices became a turning point in her healing. She explains how anxiety and OCD seek certainty, urgency, and perfection - while God's voice allows space for uncertainty, grace, and patience.
Through personal examples and compassionate guidance, Kresenya offers tools to help you respond to anxiety without judgement and reconnect with a calmer, more grounded faith.
If you struggle with relationship anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or religious OCD, this episode offers clarity, hope, and permission to rest.

When Your Emotions Feel Big

Friday Jan 02, 2026

Friday Jan 02, 2026

In this episode of the Relationship Anxiety Podcast, I’m sharing one of my favorite tools for regulating emotions: EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique). This is a practice I use personally and with clients to help calm the nervous system and lower the intensity of anxious thoughts—especially around relationships.I walk you through what EFT tapping is, how it works, and why it can be so effective for relationship anxiety. Then I guide you through a full tapping script focused on one of the most common fears I see: the fear of choosing the wrong person.
We move through three important phases—acknowledging what you’re really feeling, creating safety for those emotions, and gently reframing anxious thoughts once your body feels more regulated. You’re welcome to tap along in real time or come back to this practice whenever you need it.With all of this, remember: the goal isn’t to get rid of anxiety—it’s to learn how to support yourself when it shows up. You’re doing an amazing job!

Wednesday Dec 03, 2025

In this episode, we’re diving into something so many of us people-pleasers struggle with, especially during the holidays: feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions. If you find yourself tiptoeing around family dynamics, worrying about how your partner is being perceived, or trying to keep every single person happy (even at the cost of your own peace), this one is for you.

I’ll walk you through why we slip into people-pleasing mode, how it actually comes from a protective part of us, and a reframe that has completely changed the way I show up. It’s not about making everyone else feel good—it’s about choosing the kind of person you want to be. You get to let people handle their own emotions, and you get to show up in the world with grace and kindness because it feels true to you.

In this episode, we'll break down what self-trust actually is-and why it absolutely does not mean believing every anxious thought your brain offers. If you live with relationship anxiety or ROCD, the idea of "trusting yourself" can feel scary or confusing. I'll share what true self-trust is: about building a compassionate, consistent relationship with yourself-one where you show up, listen, and support yourself no matter what. You won't want to miss this episode!

Anxiety is Boring

Monday Nov 03, 2025

Monday Nov 03, 2025

Today's episode is about how to respond to random anxious thoughts that pop up during the day. It's tempting to respond with frantic and panicky energy, but what if we responded with boredom? Responding with boredom helps show our brains that we're not really in danger at all. If you're intrigued, today's episode is for you!

This podcast is all about what anxiety is trying to protect us from, and how to actually heal the root cause. Your anxiety isn't a problem--it's a protector from a deeper wound. But, we have to learn how to befriend anxiety before it will let us in to heal the wound. You won't want to miss this episode!

This week's episode is all about what it really means to overcome the natural man. We are taught that the natural man is an enemy to God, and because of this, start to vilify different emotions and behaviors we have. We start to use willpower to try to change our actions, which doesn't work very well long term. In this episode, I talk about what the natural man really is and a much more attainable way to overcome it.
